Venado is dedicated to providing accessible and engaging after-school programs that celebrate and preserve cultural diversity. We aim to inspire the children and youth of Chicago by offering a safe, nurturing environment where they can explore the arts, develop new skills, and build lasting connections within their communities. Through our programs, we strive to enhance the quality of life for our participants and create a brighter future for all.
Materials for Learning
Here at Grupo Folklorico Venado, we are very fortunate to have Instructors who have years of experience working with Chicago schools and have also been part of different social initiatives to spread and preserve the connection with Mexican roots.
SEL support and Family engagement.
By integrating robust SEL support and proactive family engagement into Venado’s programs, we aim to create a holistic, supportive environment that benefits the participants and their families. This aligns with our vision and mission to build a vibrant, inclusive community in Chicago.
